A winter PPE checklist for site

Visibility drops and hands get cold from October. Before the first frost, check the crew has:

• Class 3 hi-vis or a Class 2 jacket in good condition: faded bands do not reflect
• Thermal or coated gloves: cold fingers drop things
• Waterproof boots with a slip-resistant sole
• A head torch for early starts
